Here’s a strategy that works:
Begin with a headline. You have to articulate a headline that defines who you are – head and heart. Here’s a wonderful example of a headline from Mauro Porcini, 13-year CMO for PepsiCo from his speech to a crowd of young people at the United Nations General Assembly:
“I have been a designer professionally for the past 30 years. I have been a designer, in my heart for much longer.”
What a terrific example – head and heart.
